General HistoryHailing from a tiny tribe from the Gyr Abanian desert, the Mo, His earliest years were spent far out in the deep desert with his many sisters, learning the skills necessary for survival in the harshest of places and the value of a tight-knit community during his first formative years.The Empire then marches across the dunes to strike at Rhalgar's Reach, forcing the entire Mo tribe to flee before them. In this chaos, Mo'rtojhi finds himself separated from his tribe and thrown into Eorzean life at a young age. The young miqo'te was taken along with many Gyr Abanian orphans by a kindly couple, Loreta and Hahatere. The group first settles into the Black Shroud but are soon chased out, moving from place to place until finally settling down into a rickety shack in Ul'dah.Many of these years are filled with happy memories alongside the hardships until Mo'rtojhi deems himself old enough to venture out for employment and to lend a helping hand to those who had helped him. Throughout the following years the young man begins to establish himself as an independent porter, expanding his routes until he eventually begins to wander the width and breadth of Eorzea.Present day finds Mo'rtojhi working hard as ever. Often times this leads him to trouble, but in equal measure he's run into good folk along the way. Most of his gil is sent back home as he travels Eorzea, while the rest are spent on food and drink while spinning yarns across a campfire with strangers just as easily with friends. Perhaps the next friendly face on the road might be yours...Warrior of Light, AU, or expansion based history is available upon request!
